It’s been a crazy few weeks for everyone. We still can get our heads around what’s happened and just hope that everyone is safe and stays healthy. The mantra in the Fado family is ‘this too shall pass!’. And, it will. We did a call with all of our managers this morning and spirits were pretty good.
Than you to everyone who has purchased a gift card and contributed to our GoFundMe campaign. We have a lot of folks who will need some help and these funds will do some real good. Thank you, thank you.
We’ve created a couple of virtual events on Thursday and Friday and we’d love to have you join us. Both are live streamed on our Instagram account @FadoIrishPub.
Thursday, 8pm EST: Virtual Pub Quiz
Friday, 6pm EST : Virtual Happy Hour
Attendance has been great, so bring a drink and prepare to have a laugh!
If you need to reach anyone at the pub, you can send us an email here. Be safe!

Like many restaurants we are looking for ways to keep our staff safe and provided for during the next (hopefully) few weeks. If you are looking to help, one of the ways is to invest in our future and buy a gift card. 50% of all the revenue will go to our hourly staff in the front of house and in the kitchen. You can buy your cards here. We will be announcing additional fundraising moves shortly and perks for everyone who donates. Thank you and stay safe!

Happy St Patrick’s Day, friends. It’s not how we hoped to spend today as we’ve postponed our festivities. That said, our pint is half- full. This will end and we’ll get through it by being there for each other. We will have more updates for you as they become available. Slainte.

Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day today
We know many will come out today to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and for that we are grateful, thank you. We know many will stay home as well due to COVID-19 and we understand. These are uncertain times, so when you come out today and over the next few weeks you will see the following:
– additional staff who’s job it is to repeatedly clean and sanitize surfaces, handles, menus, etc.
– we’ll limit guest counts at time of peak demand to give people more space
– there will be fewer tables and bar stools to give everyone more room
– hand washing, lots of hand washing with well stocked bathrooms and increased bathroom checks
– we’ll be encouraging you to use credit cards instead of cash
– coasters will be used one time and discarded
– we will have attendants serving food at banquet events instead of the traditional buffets
We are taking these and other steps to make the pub as safe as it can be. If you have any questions please email us. This account is monitored by multiple people and you will receive a response.

We’re Encouraging You to Use Credit Cards
We would ask everyone to use credit cards wherever possible. Cash represents a big spread risk for you and our staff at this time. Please do your best to minimize the use of cash.

Wait Times on Saturday and Tuesday
We are making a number of changes as a result of the COVID-19 virus to our events on Saturday and on Tuesday. Your wait to get into the pub or event may be a little longer than usual. That’s because we will reduce the number of people we allow in at any one time. We think giving everyone a little more space is a good idea.

We’re following the CDC COVID-19 recommendations for public gatherings and the guidelines provided by the National Restaurant Association. Everyone should take precautions when going out, and if you are not feeling well, please stay home and get healthy.
